A charming period residence that was built as a hunting lodge of the Arnolfini in the 14th century, Il Palazzetto is located in the most elegant residential area of Lucca in a panoramic position overlooking the Vorno Valley, less than 10 minutes from the city center and 30 from the famous beaches of Versilia. It is one of the oldest historic villas in the area that was once used as summer residences by the families of Lucca, mentioned in numerous books that collect evidence of historic villas.
The current owners have carried out an accurate conservative restoration in order to preserve all the original materials, which includes - among other things - the complete reconstruction and insulation of the roof, original terracotta floors reassembled in a workmanlike manner.
